Licensed Massage Therapist
Oregon # 24215
I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2017, when I graduated from a 900 hour program through Healing Mountain Massage School in Salt Lake City, Utah. Most recently, in 2025, I completed a 640 hour advanced training to become a structural integration practitioner through Anatomy Trains Structural Integration.
I am passionate about helping people get out of pain. I have been inspired by the many practitioners who have helped me with my own chronic sciatic nerve pain. I turned to structural integration myself and have had profound relief.
I am grateful that I found relief because I love surfing and snowboarding. I have done both sports avidly for many years, and hope to do them for as long as I can. I understand the impacts on daily life that pain has, and the fear that it may never get better.
My sciatic nerve pain started by showing up sparingly. Eventually it got worse. It became more consistent, and then began flaring up to the point that I could not find relief. I began receiving massage regularly to help, and it did bring a lot of relief, though sometimes it would aggravate or even bring on sciatic nerve pain. Around this time a colleague shared the Anatomy Trains book with me and I became really interested in how that approach could help me.
I did some research, and it was great timing. ATSI happened to be coming to Portland to offer their basic training. It was a big undertaking, but I had the drive to better understand sciatic nerve pain, so I signed up. I was also able to get in with a practitioner in Portland and receive the 12 series.
The journey has been remarkable. What continues to stick with me the most, is how long the relief from the work has lasted. My experience makes me believe in this work. I look forward to seeing how this work can help others.
